How it all began

Keystone Knowledge was set up by Stephen Mitchell in January 2020, bringing together his passion for education, knowledge of the sector and desire to see improvement in operational practices.

Keystone’s journey began with helping schools and trusts that were in financial difficulty and has expanded to supporting schools and trusts across the country with a range of strategic and operational remits, from trust growth to HR and estates management.

Always moving forward

The Keystone team continues to grow with like-minded people who have worked in schools and become experts in their chosen fields. We want to share our expertise and best practice to help schools and trusts provide the best education to their pupils and students.

At Keystone we pride ourselves in our passion for our work. This passion comes from our experience of working in schools, our high-level research, our business knowledge, our commitment to education management improvement and above all the belief that education can change lives.

"Working with the team at Keystone has been an absolute pleasure. They have got to know our schools, how we work, and have offered support which has made a difference. The results speak for themselves, and Keystone are now very much part of our team."
